How’s it going ladies and gents! Today we are excited to share our client and friend, Andrea Baker’s 21 week Bikini Prep Journey. Andrea has been a client of ours for quite some time now and at first she just wanted to improve her overall body composition, improve her metabolism, and have great relationship with foods and overall balance. Towards the end of 2014 Andrea kept hinting out she really wanted to try and do a bikini show. We knew she had built enough muscle, took care of her metabolism, and had the will to take on a huge challenge like competing. So we gave Andrea the green light!
We knew with some structure, guidance, science, and accountability we knew Andrea would thrive! So we set her up using flexible dieting for her daily nutrition, programmed her a properly periodized strength training protocol that emphasized Glute Training along with Squats, Bench, and Deadlifts. We strategically implemented cardio throughout her 21 week dieting phase, and she ended up doing very well in her show! But most of all she conquered the goal she set out to do and never complained once!
Week 1-
141 lbs.
1,500 calories
Waist circumference 25.5 inches
Week 21-
118 lbs.
1,065 calories
Waist circumference 22 inches
We like to show these stats because too often we see misleading information about weight loss or contest prep success stories. The moral of Andrea’s story is she lost a significant amount of body fat, maintained lean body mass, and never had to deprive herself from foods she enjoyed during her prep. She accomplished her goals without making her life miserable and was very content with her overall prep experience.
We’re extremely proud of Andrea and it’s been an honor coaching her and being a part of her journey.

I would like to start this off by saying “Yes you can” to anyone who is reading this thinking that they want to make a change with their physique and overall health. About a year and a half ago the big “40” was fast approaching and I knew deep down I wanted to do something really hard and challenging for myself. For many years I had always admired the look of fitness girls. I really love the way muscle looks on the female body and the way it re-shapes your physique. I know what it feels like to not really know where to begin and to feel really lost in a big ocean of people willing to take your money for training. I had read so many horror stories of coaches starving girls to death for 5 seconds on stage and this was something I was NOT willing to do. I am so thankful to have found Dynamic Duo Training. I started following several fitness accounts that lead me to these coaches. I can remember sitting at my desk pondering whether or not I should email them, I am so glad I did!!! There is no way I would have been able to get where I am today without Eric Martinez. There were many days I thought about quitting when it got hard and Eric’s words and guidance are really what got me through the tough days. Anytime I would have a question or concern they were right there to answer my questions with very quick responses!!! I want everyone to know who is reading this that “YOU” can do it and Dynamic Duo Training is the company to hire to get you there.
