Well what if we told you our friend, the macro wizard, Marciano, has an amazing protein apple crisp recipe for you?

You get some high quality protein in, some micronutrients from the apple, and some extra deliciousness from the apple crisp part 🙂

Bringing in 2018 with a bang! Cannot believe we are starting another year, but with a new year comes new experiences new wins, new loses but lets start by trying this new recipe!

I’ve had apple on my mind for awhile and had some apple pie filling on hand so this is what came about!

Macros Per Square:

  • 20g carbs
  • 4g fat
  • 17g protein
  • 185 calories

There’s no better way to enjoy a nice treat!

Ingredients

Ingredients for Apple Crust:

  • 25g Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 30g Coconut Flour
  • 30g Graham Cracker Crust
  • 6tbsp Light Butter (I can’t believe its not butter)
  • ½ Zero Calorie Sweetener

Ingredients for Apple Pie Filling:

  • 2 Scoops (30g) Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 15oz Greek Yogurt (Dannon light and fit)
  • 12oz Fat Free Cream Cheese
  • 8g Fat Free Sugar Free Jello Pudding mix (Cheesecake)
  • 3/4  Cup Zero Cal Sweetener
  • 1tblsp Cinnamon
  • 9×9 Square Pan

Ingredients for Apple Topping:

  • 1 Container Sugar Free Apple Pie Filling

Directions:

1.) Mix all dry crust ingredients into a bowl

2.) Melt Butter and add in and mix to dough like consistency

3.) Add dough into 9×9 pan and begin spreading out with hands and allow to chill in freezer while you make the filling

4.) Add Softened cream cheese and all filling ingredients into a bowl and mix until you get cheesecake consistency

5.) Once thoroughly mixed add into pan and allow to chill in the fridge or back in the freezer to speed it up!

6.) Once it has become nice and firm take out and add Sugar Free Apple Pie topping.

7.) Enjoy!
