How Lindsay Increased her Confidence and Overall Health as a Mom

 

 

Hey there ladies and gentleman!  I am excited to share my client and friend, Lindsay Edgerton’s success story with you. Lindsay came to me 2 years ago and she was stuck in a major rut within fitness and making it a realistic, enjoyable, and flexible lifestyle. Her nutrition looked like this:

  • Switching from Intermitent fasting, Keto, Paleo, etc.
  • Restricting foods
  • Not eating late at night
  • No meal structuring or spacing strategy in place
  • No variety

Her mind wasn’t in the game, she was frustrated, and her training and cardio routine looked like this:

  • Couple days out of the week doing weight training
  • Cardio first thing when he got to the gym for 45 minutes
  • No structure within his training program
  • Orange Theory or Boot Camp classes
  • Wasn’t having fun

If there was two words to sum up Lindsay’s current fitness program it would be “No Structure.”

So, Lindsay told me how much weight she ideally wanted to lose, build more muscle and how this would give her more confidence, showed me pictures of how lean she wanted to be, how many days/hours per week she could train, and then I dug deep into her current nutrition habits. 6 months later the “No Structure” Lindsay, found the new and improved Lindsay and more! She was training on a non-linear periodized training protocol that emphasized more strength, she was doing only 3 days of low intensity cardio, she incorporated flexible dieting, and she absolutely flourished with everything and gained more confidence!

After 6 months:

  • She lost 10 lbs
  • She lost 4 inches off his waist
  • She kept the majority of her strength and increased it
  • She increased a ton muscle mass all around
  • She never had to restrict the foods she liked
  • She gained a ton of knowledge with exercise and nutrition
  • She now trains at a bodybuilding gym

I began working with Coach Eric for my nutrition and training program in Jan, in hopes of getting in better shape to look better, feel better, and increase my confidence. I was referred to Eric by a friend that worked with him as well. From my first discussion with Coach Eric, I knew I had made the right choice. So much time and effort went into getting to know me, my preferences, my goals and creating a program that was individualized for me. Week by week, Coach Eric encouraged, guided and inspired me to be the best version of myself.

Coach Eric always made me feel accomplished. I have never had a good relationship with food, or my body, and Coach Eric helped me put everything in perspective and learn that progress is progress no matter how small or how large. He also taught me that I have the ability to make choices in food and training, and that missing one day or miscounting a macro is not the end of the world. I can confidently say that I am an entirely different person, not only physically, but mentally, after working with Coach Eric. I felt as though I had not only a coach but a friend.

The way Eric broke down his philosophy on the new era of fitness and to not ever look at fitness as black and white was genius! Mindset, Personal Development, and making it a realistic, enjoyable, and flexible lifestyle was huge!

I learned so much in the first 6 months about nutrition, counting macros, and training and I feel as though I can move forward with confidence knowing that I can transform my body even more if I put in the time and effort.

I feel like I have so much energy now to play with my daughter and be able to pass these healthy habits onto my family for the long haul. This was one of the bigger wins in my investment with Coach Eric.
