Enough with all the brown rice talk and hype and start using what you really want…Sticky white rice! Don’t get us wrong, brown rice is lower in the the glycemic index, has more fiber, and more vitamins/minerals than white rice. But it’s not the end all be all like everyone thinks. A 16 week study in China substituted white rice with brown rice to see if any metabolic risk factors were improved and after 16 weeks, results showed no major substantial improvements were made.
