“Train Loco” Stair Stepper Workout

It’s time to get off the boring old treadmills and STOP reading the latest gossip magazines about celebrities and start doing some Real Work! The train loco stair stepper workout will have your heart rate sky rocketing, burning calories and making small changes to your metabolic rate! If you want to try and read a magazine while doing this, then think of a newspaper being soaked by the rain because that’s what this workout will do!

This cardio workout could be done on a stair master, stair stepper, or elliptical. But, we recommend the stair stepper.

Length: 25 minutes

Protocol: Start at level 7, this will always be your baseline level.

  • 5 minute warm up on level 7
  • 10 min intervals
  • 1 minute level 8
  • 1 minute level 7 (baseline)
  • 1 minute level 9
  • 1 minute level 7 (baseline)
  • 1 minute level 10
  • 1 minute level 7 (baseline)
  • 1 minute level 11
  • 1 minute level 7 (baseline)
  • 1 minute level 12
  • 1 minute level 7 (baseline)
  • 1 minute level 13
  • 1 minute level 7 (baseline)
  • 1 minute level 14
  • 7 min cool down on level 7

Done! Drink water, stretch and toss the magazine in the garbage because we told you so.
