Dynamic Portobello Mushroom Burger

We know it’s been a while, but we have been working hard in the kitchen coming up with new and healthy recipe ideas for you. We have also been putting together a recipe book for you, more on that in a minute. Today, we have a burger…You are probably like “okay…just a boring ole burger?” But it’s not boring, it’s dynamic! Let us introduce the Dynamic Portobello Mushroom Burger. If you are on a higher protein and fat diet then this will be right up your alley. If not, just make some adjustments with the ingredients and servings sizes to fit your macro budget.

Ingredients:

1 Whole Wheat Burger Bun (Orowheat Brand)

1 Portobello Mushroom (weigh in grams after it’s cooked)

112g Lean Bison Beef (weigh in grams after it’s cooked)

28g Cheddar Cheese

1 Laughing Cow Wedge

1 Sliced Pickle

45g Lettuce

16g Honey Mustard

16g Ketchup

 

 

How to Prepare It:

Step 1. Grill Bison burger meat on stove or BBQ
Step 2. Marinate mushroom in soy sauce, garlic salt and A1 sauce and grill on stove or BBQ until mushroom is brown
Step 3. Toast whole wheat burger bun
Step 4. Add cheddar cheese, laughing cow, ketchup and honey mustard
Step 5. Add sliced pickles, lettuce and ground pepper
