Alright…Drum role please…Boom! What a way to start off this new year with some healthy chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. Good source of carbs, high in fiber, quality protein source and good fats all bundled up into these cookies that make you say “oh lawd” when you bite into them. Try them out ladies and gents, you won’t be disappointed.
Ingredients: (Makes 15 cookies)
1 ½ cup oats
2 scoops vanilla whey protein
2 tbsp honey
½ cup dark chocolate chips
1 cup apple sauce
½ cup splenda
4 Tbsp peanut butter
How to prepare it:
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and put them on a cookie sheet to make cookies. Put the oven on 350 and leave them in for 10-15 minutes.
