Today I am excited to share my client and friend, Andrew Collins fat loss story. Andrew came to me 13 months ago and he was stuck in a rut.
His nutrition wasn’t dialed in, his mind wasn’t in the game, he was frustrated, and his training looked like this:
Day 1: Leg press and shoulders, 5 sets of 8 reps
Day 2: Chest and triceps, 3 sets of 5 reps
Day 3: Back and biceps, 3 sets of 8 reps
Some Cardio here and there.
So I started him off on his fat loss phase very conservatively by starting him off on a basic linear periodized training program to get his confidence up, minimal cardio, and a break in phase to flexible dieting.
Fast forward 13 months later…
– He’s down 92 pounds
– He lost 17 inches off his waist
– His strength increased and he gained muscle mass
– Most importantly he gained his confidence back, kept the weight he lost off, he’s mentally stronger, and this all has allowed him to be a better father
Andrew is now reverse dieting so that he can build his metabolic rate back up, increase strength, increase muscle, and prepare for a future dieting phase
I’m extremely proud of him!
