Sammy J’s Dieting Success Journey

How’s it going ladies and gents! Today we are excited to share our client and friend, Sammy Jurkowski’s 24 week Dieting journey. Sammy came to us following a set meal plan with zero variety, doing countless hours of fasted cardio, and zero science behind her training routine.

With some structure, guidance, science, and accountability we knew Sammy would thrive! So we set her up using flexible dieting for her daily nutrition, programmed her a properly periodized strength training protocol, strategically implemented cardio throughout her 24 week dieting phase, and she dropped a great amount of body fat, while gaining and maintaining some muscle as well.

Week 1-

140 lbs.

1,600 calories

Waist circumference 34 inches

123.5 lbs.

1,105 calories

We like to show these stats because too often we see misleading information about weight loss success stories. The moral of Sammy’s story is she lost a significant amount of body fat, gained some lean body mass, and never had to deprive herself from foods she enjoyed.  She accomplished her goals without making her life miserable and gained a ton of confidence after and was much happier with her body composition.

Sammy is now reverse dieting while Feeling stronger, more energetic, eating more, having better relationships with food, building muscle mass, enjoying life, and doing things the right way so that when it comes time to diet again she won’t have to diet as long and as hard.

We’re extremely proud of Sammy and it’s been an honor coaching her and being a part of her journey.

I am so thankful I was recommended to DDT! Before joining the team I had previously tried dieting on my own as well as I tried two different coaches who set my diet to very low calories and carbs. I had temporary results but could never stick with the extreme restrictions and ended up binging and ultimately was worse off than when I started. While working with Coach Eric I never felt restricted in eating. With flexible dieting I was able to lose 18 lbs. and 6 inches off my waist in 24 weeks. I retained muscle mass and increased my strength, all while losing fat. I was able to go on vacations, eat out with friends, enjoy food, and still see results. This is the first program I have been able to stick with. I am so thankful for all of Eric’s support, the weekly check ins were great, but I also appreciated that he was there to answer my questions and support me whenever needed. I can’t wait for my next phase of progress in the program. I would highly recommend team DDT to anyone that wants to see results and maintain them! I cannot thank Eric and Chris and the whole DDT enough!
